Raise your glass several floors up, lose yourself in the clouds, and indulge in the
city's splendor... Yes, Warsaw can be splendid! It just depends on how you look at it. If you enjoy observing the city from a bird’s eye and dancing on the roof under the stars, this blog post is
for you. If you don’t, still read it, and I am sure that after it, you will want to visit the amazing "high" places listed here.
Personally, I LOVE sky bars and roofs. Every time I visit a new city, I try to find the highest point in this place and to get there: be it a tower, a hill or a multi-storey car park.
It opens for me a new perspective and gives a different feeling of the city. Spending time on the roofs and high buildings with panorama also make me think differently and take me above the routine. Moreover, these are the perfect places for spending a romantic moment with someone you like, for welcoming a new day at the sunrise or for thanking a leaving day at the sunset.
So, today I take you to the vertiginous places in Warsaw!
Please note the places are listed in a random order (it's not a rating :)
Let’s go)) UP !
The best sky bars, rooftop bars, and hotels with panoramic views in Warsaw
Panorama Sky Bar in Marriott
It is the first sky bar in Warsaw I went around nine years ago on my first trip to Poland to fall in love with this city. The Panorama Bar is situated on the 40th floor of the hotel Marriott from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of Warsaw.
After re-opening this year, the menu in the bar improved. You will find a great selection of drinks and cocktails, however, for non-alcoholic beverages, the choice is quite small (they proposed me to choose between a virgin mojito or a virgin mojito with passion fruit :-). It is an excellent venue for a date or for meeting friends before heading to another place to party.
Atmosphere/Ambiance: chill out, lounge.
Address: Hotel Marriott, Aleje Jerozolimskie street, 65/79.
Open: every day from 18:00 until 02:00.
Happy Hour: Promotional prices for selected beverages daily from 18:00 until 19:00.
Make yourself a gift or invite your loved one for a fabulous stay in the Marriott hotel to enjoy the panorama from your room. Presidents and world stars choose to stay in Marriott in Warsaw for a reason.

Level 27 @ The Millennium Plaza
It’s a perfect place to dance on the huge open terrace on the 27th floor, to observe a superb view of the city and amazing sunsets. Level 27 is very spacious club (more than 800 square meters).
You can enjoy the evening either in the indoor space with a bar, a dance floor, and a VIP zone, or in the outside area with a balcony, one more bar,
a trendy sitting area with tables, and a dance floor under the stars. I had here a perfect party, and I am ready to go to the Level 27 again and again.
Please note that there is a selection at the entrance, so leave your flip-flops and a Mickey t-shirt at home and come here in a “dress to impress" outfit (and put your dancing shoes and dancing mood on!).
Check out their calendar of thematic parties and events with local and foreign DJ-s.
Atmosphere/Ambiance: slow down, chill out, relax, party.
Address: Millenium Plaza, Al. Jerozolimskie street, 123a.
Open: Friday-Saturday from 22:00 until 6:00.
Rooftop Garden @ The Library
Into the green! It is a special place not only in Poland but the whole Europe as this roof garden impresses with its size: it covers the area of more than 10,000 m2.
Come here to take fresh air while enjoying a beautiful view of the city and the River Vistula. Explore the rare plants in the garden or just bring with you some food and have an unforgettable picnic.
Address: Dobra 56/66
Open: Every day, free entry
8:00 – 20:00, from May 1st – until September 30th
8:00. – 18:00, April and October
8:00 – 15:00, from November 1st – March 31st – only the Lower Garden
InterContinental Hotel Warsaw
Spend an enjoyable evening at the only rooftop swimming pool in Warsaw and a spa with a view at the InterContinental Hotel.
If you are lucky, you can even witness a live harp music concert while you swim there. The gym and the rooms have the stunning view over Warsaw as well.
"The XXX Floor" Terrace @ The Palace of Science and Culture
"The wedding cake," "Pekin," "The elephant in lacy underwear," as the Varsovians call it, the Palace of Science and Culture dominates the skyline in central Warsaw and is the symbol of Warsaw. It’s really worth to check out what is inside: it's quite impressive how many things it houses (cinemas, theaters, libraries, museums, swimming pool, cafés, disco and sports clubs).
And if you want to observe the city from four different directions, take an elevator to the observation deck located on the 30th floor of the building.
The terrace is open untill the late evening, so you can come here to enjoy the sunset.
You can also sit and have some coffee while doing so; there is a café at this level.
Address: Defilad Square, 1
Open: daily from 9:00 -18:00.
From the 1st of May to the 30th of September the terrace “Thirty” is open from Sunday to Thursday 9:00 – 20:30 and on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 – 24:00.
Ticket prices in 2016:
20 zł / person – Normal ticket (for adults)
15 zł / person – Discount ticket (children and students).
Pure Sky Club
Pure Sky Club is an exclusive club on the 22d floor of the Skylight tower, combining business, entertainment, and relaxation. Usually, you can access it only if you hold the club membership, but there are also open events and parties listed on their website.
Atmosphere/Ambiance: business, lounge, classy, exclusive
Address: Zlota street, 59.
Open: currently closed due to the issues with the landlord. I hope they will reopen soon as the venue is amazing.
I had a lovely stay at the Novotel hotel and could enjoy magnificent sunrises and sunsets from my room. There is no sky bar on the last floor, but there is a gym where you can exercise and observe Warsaw from above.
It is a four-star hotel with very reasonable prices for a room with a view. Located in the center of Warsaw, Novotel is a great place to stay for exploring the city. Everything you need is within walking distance. Breakfasts there are delicious and include both hot food and continental breakfast items. A great deal for the price.
Taste the "high life" at the Bar 13! It is an elegant place for a drink or a business meeting with a beautiful view of the clouds and the roofs.
In addition, it has an attractive lunch offer: for 59 zlotych you get 5 high-quality modern cuisine dishes in degustation portions. Each dish will be a surprise because before ordering you will only receive the list of 3 main ingredients without knowing what would be the final gourmand creation.
The choice of drinks and cocktails is wide, and the staff makes you feel a VIP :)
I recommend the place.
Address: Bracka street, 9, DH Vitkac
Open: Monday - Saturday, 11:00 - 23:00
Sunday, 11:00 - 18:00
The View is called this way, not by accident. The view which opens from this club located on the 32d floor is truly amazing and you can observe the city in a 360-degree panorama. The scenes from a height of 122 meters will remain long in your heart.
It's a stylish venue with a strict selection at the entrance: you have to look fancy to enter. If you want to make a photo session here
with a professional camera, unfortunately, it will not be possible. They didn't let me in with my Nikon to take some sunset shots. On the other side, you are very welcome to take selfies and put
sophisticated hashtags :-) A big part of the guests here seems to take it quite seriously.
So, come to The View to have a drink at sunset and then stay for dancing till the
sunrise. You can party here with the best Polish and international DJ's who will offer you the cocktail of deep
house, techno, tech-house or groove.
Address: Twarda street, 18.
Open: Friday - Saturday, 22:00 - 05.00.
Sometimes The View also hosts the Liquid Brunches on Sundays. Check their page for the updates. And for now watch this short video about what to expect from the Liquid Brunch there:
St. Ann Bell Tower
Only 150 stone stairs to the very top of the tower – and you will discover a stunning panorama of the Old Town! Words here are superfluous. Just come and enjoyyyy the view!
Address: Krakowskie Przedmieście street, 68.
Open: May to October
Monday – Friday, 10:00 - 21:00
Saturday – Sunday 11:00 - 22:00
Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 18:00
